You might be wondering…

Do you offer a trial?

I do offer trials in my studio. They are usually scheduled on weekdays. The trial is up to 2-3 hours long and we will discuss your wedding colors, assess your skin care needs, select colors and design a look just for you. It is recommended to schedule your trial before you go for bridal portraits or going out for the evening so you can see and feel how nicely the makeup will hold up throughout the night.

What is airbrush makeup all about?

Airbrush makeup is water-based makeup applied through an airbrush gun with air forced out of a compressor. The makeup goes on into tiny microscopic dots and creates a very soft smooth finish and is long-lasting.

What are your makeup tips for brides?

The last things you want on your big day are big makeup hassles. To avoid makeup meltdown, we choose a long-lasting foundation and lip color, and waterproof mascara. Also, sometimes blush-complexions get dulled in photos, so we always apply an extra pop of your naturally flushed cheek color before you walking down the aisle.

When should I book your design service?

As soon as possible, I get booked up a year in advance for some dates. 2012 is already getting booked up.

What do I need to prepare on the wedding day?

Everyone who is having their hair done will need to wear a zip or button top. Hair needs to be dry and clean. Wash your hair the day before the event and don’t use conditioner. Basic skin care with enough hydration is the key for beautiful makeup. As we say, “Good makeup starts with good skin.”

What do I need for the trial?

Pictures. Keep any cut outs of hair styles you like, bring a picture of your wedding dress, veil, tiara etc.; if you have the smaller items take them with you. The more you bring the better idea you give to the stylist on the type of wedding and the look you need and want.

Do I have to do a trial to book you?

Absolutely not, it is nice to be able to meet you ahead of time and makes you feel more comfortable with me, but if you are out of town and can’t make it, it is totally not necessary. I have plenty of experience and am very confident that you will be pleased with your choice.

What products do you use?

As your makeup artist, I will choose the products that best suit your complexion and needs. All of the products I use are professional quality and are highly pigmented to last all day. We like to use Nars, Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Guerlain, Cle De Peau, YSL, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Motives etc . The products also don’t contain several ingredients found in drug store cosmetics that can cause your makeup to fade or look shiny and look washed out under flash photography.

Will I look too done up?

No, just because products contain more pigment doesn’t mean you will look overdone. We can accommodate whatever look you are going for whether it’s natural, just like you only better or a more WOW look. You and I will decide together what will work best for the time of day, your dress and style, and personal preferences. “Our specialty is maximizing your natural beauty”
