UPDATE: 12/20/09 (6 months after my wedding) Tiffany was soooo nice that she allowed me to try the airbrush makeup before the wedding and of course I totally liked it! Fast forward to our wedding day, Tiffany and her crew were right on time! She even went ahead and sent the hairstylists early so they could work on the ladies early on.

Tiffany and the rest of her crew made me and the rest of the ladies at my wedding party gorgeous and stunning! My makeup and hair lasted all throughout the night and I stayed fresh and radiant even if I forgot to do touch ups as often as I should. I still got a ton of compliments! Even now as I was finally able to post and share our wedding pictures, everyone that sees them still compliments on how lovely of a bride I was! All thanks to Tiffany!

The best makeup will highlight your natural beauty and do a good job of hiding how tired you as the day progresses. Because if weddings are one thing besides fun, it’s tiring. Traditional Asian brides in particular would have to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to get ready and then endure dress changes throughout the day. So good makeup will make sure you look fresh �til the last guest leaves.

I was planning for a small budget wedding. I came across Tiffany’s website while I was looking for a makeup/hair artist and as much as I loved the work she showed on her website, I initially hesitated to spend so much on my makeup/hair.

But after a disastrous trial session at a local salon, I knew I couldn’t afford to look bad, especially when we’re hiring a professional photographer as well. And so I turned to Tiffany and she didn’t disappoint.

Tiffany responds quickly to emails and phone calls and is very accommodating. Having seen her work on her website, I trusted her to do a similar job without a trial session. I simply emailed her a picture of myself and of makeup and hair dos that I liked and that was all she needed to work her magic when the day came.

She is a true artist; I felt like she was a painter at work with my face as her canvas. She’s very professional and gentle and sweet. She was able to make my single eyelid look like double lids, which was amazing. My hair was made into a lovely curly updo and she artfully integrated some hair accessories I provided. And she did it all in 2 1/2 hours.

After looking at the pictures, I am so glad I invested in Tiffany’s services. She was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding and I highly recommend her for your special occasion.

Tiffany was referred to me by another artist who happened to be unavailable. Nonetheless, she did my hair and make-up in 1 1/2 hours for a pre-wedding photo shoot with amazing results. I did not arrange for a trial to go over details before hand, but during the first 5-10 minutes, she understood my desired outcome and hair style very quickly. She definitely delivered the results over and beyond my expectations! Her makeup is very suitable for Asian skin/looks, light and photogenic. Her prices are also reasonable considering her level of artistry. They stayed intact for the next 4 hours during the photo shoot. I’m a Fashion Photographer in the SF Bay area and I have worked with at least 20+ makeup artists and hair stylists. Most makeup artists have a lot of ideas and creativity oozing out of their skin and that’s great. However, most of them don’t listen to their clients. Some would go as far as overdo makeup because they feel like it.

I have been using Tiffany for just about all my fashion and wedding photography for near to a year now and I have heard nothing but _great_ things about Tiffany. In fact, just about any clients of mine, big and small that I sent her way will return to thank me for referring her.

The only thing I think Tiffany can improve upon is her makeup speed. Due to the fact that she is extremely meticulous as an artist, she tends to take a longer time to apply extremely thin layer of makeup that will ensure that the colors of your face will not radically change from your neck into your face. I have then learnt to give her the time she needs but I suppose that’s what’s needed to ensure a perfect skin care, makeup process. So, if you are looking for a fast spiffy makeup artist, you may really want to request her to speed things up. BUT if you want absolutely flawless makeup, Tiffany’s your girl.

Believe it or not, Tiffany has done my makeup three different times. The first time was my engagement photo shoot; the makeup and the pictures came out so well. She gave me a very romantic hairdo as I requested and she even customized my foundation color to match my skin tone. Since she did so well on my engagement pictures, I asked her to come at 7:30 a.m., and she even came in early for me. She wants everything to be perfect. She really cares about her clients. I love the product she used on me. My makeup stayed fresh all day long. I have 2 other dresses to wear at the banquet and thanks to Tiff, the color she used on me matches all my dresses :) She did the bridesmaids  makeup as well, and they all loved it.

The third time was when I was a bridesmaid, and I had her do my makeup at 6 in the morning. Since I called in at the very last minute, and thanks to tiff, she still tried to put me in her busy schedule. (She is always fully booked; make sure you call her ahead of time.) She is absolutely lovely to work with as her client, and I am so glad that I found her. She is very talented, and if you find her to do you makeup, you will have one less thing to worry about on your big day :) Thanks tiff! :) You are amazing!

I wish I can take Tiffany home with me overseas to do my other parties!! That is how good she is! =)

I booked her for a two days engagement photo session, and she had graciously agreed to come to my place due to transportation issues on my end. She was on time, and came prepared with all her make up gears. Tiffany was so responsive to emails and phone calls too, communicating with her is a pleasure. She is very sweet and nice too. Oh, not to mention very patient!

She listened to what I want, but gave helpful feedback at the same time. I wanted makeup and hair style that is versatile as I would be changing outfits many times during the shoot; and Tiffany delivered. I was able to take my hair down from the updo (which as a very nice updo too), and the curls came out great. With a little touch up throughout the day, my makeup and hair lasted well into the night. The airbrush make up she did on me was wonderful too. Eyelashes did not came off, and Tiffany gave me touch up kit too for the road.

The second day was even better, since I told her what happened on the first day, and she fixed it. My eye make up did not smudge, and my hair was even better on the second day. Great job Tiffany!!! =)
